Lizcano Consulting Engineers, Inc. has been in continuous operation since 1979, celebrated its 25th anniversary on 16 September 2004. Lizcano Consulting Engineers keeps pace with the changing technology of the industry. The Company is equipped with a network of many state of the art components such as; a network server, CADD stations, plotters, printers, internet access, e-mail, fax modems, copy machines, and the programs required to render the best service possible. Our skilled staff uses innovative ideas and state-of-the-art technology to develop and design solutions to best serve our clients needs.
Manuel F. Lizcano, P.E. is the founder of Lizcano Consulting Engineers Inc. and is the Principal in charge of Engineering. Mr. Lizcano has over 45 years in the building industry. He received his first hands on experiences of building systems in his father's construction company. He established his technical and disciplinary structure through his college years. His 10 year employment in a mechanical and electrical engineering firm developed his expertise in the application of the technical principles to the design and installation of mechanical and electrical systems in a very broad spectrum of applications. As Director of Engineering at the architectural firm of Ford Powell and Carson for seven years, Mr. Lizcano learned an appreciation for architectural excellence and the importance of the sensitive integration of the engineering systems into the architectural concepts.
We recognize the need for coordination with other disciplines and we consider it part of our service requirements to work with all team members to assure the best results for the owner.
Teamwork and communication are key elements to the successful accomplishment of the owners' requirements. We intend to work closely with all the team members at each phase of the design and construction work. We recognize that the “team” consist of, in general terms, the Owner, the building users, other design professionals, utility companies, material and equipment suppliers, contractors and others that may be involved directly or indirectly with the project.
Lizcano Consulting Engineers, Inc. is well qualified and capable of performing the work required. Our staff is dedicated to the performance of quality work within scheduled timelines. Our quality control involves outlines of the work and checklists to control progress. In addition to our educational and experience background we keep up with the latest technology by trade journals, attendance to conferences and seminars, and active participation in professional organizations.
